2008, in a nutshell
1.What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Came out to my parents, Flew to California, went to Graceland, dated more this year than any other year

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
all but one, I didn't get the tattoo I wanted. But I have made more this year

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
nope

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thankfully

5. What countries did you visit?
Just been in the same one I’ve always been in

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A relationship, an honest to goodness healthy relationship

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
the week of July 4th, the week I spent with Brandy and it's the greatest vacation of my life

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Coming out, flying

9. What was your biggest failure?
I don’t believe it was a failure, but I fell really hard for someone who was ridiculous and very immature. It was stupidity on my part, because I have ended up getting hurt.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, thankfully

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I didn’t buy a whole lot this year

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Mine, because I forced myself to kind of step away from my old habits of depression and make myself become an adult and take care of myself. And I am slowly but surely getting there.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mine, in certain relationships I've had this year

14. Where did most of your money go?
Gas, cigarettes, rent, bills, traveling

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Seeing California

16. What songs will always remind you of 2007?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. happier or sadder? Both actually, but probably more happy

ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner, I lost a bunch of weight this time last year and gained most of it back. But I'm even thinner now!

iii. richer or poorer? poorer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Spent time with my nephew, but a lot of that is not my fault. Saved money. Travelled. Eaten better. Dated more.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Smoked less, cried

20. How will you be spending New Year's?
Well I spent it having dinner with friends, then brought in the new year at home with my roommates, which was fine

21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
Yes

The L Word

I don't hate anyone

Sadly didn't read much this year

a vacation

A new car, a good relationship

Hairspray

Couple nights of dinners with friends and went to Graceland

Having a good relationship

The same as it’s always been, a jeans and t-shirt girl….with her love of cute underwear

Those few friends that I can always talk to and will always help me

I don’t even think I obsessed about anyone this year, which surprises me

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Gay marriage and this pointless war

37. Who did you miss?
No one that I can think of, everyone that is important has stayed in my life

People at work, my roommate Anna, Danielle

If you put your mind to it, you can do anything and get what you want.
